Abington Clean-up Days
Global Climate Change. Species Extinctions. Loss of Biodiversity. What to do about the waste and toxins in our environment? These are just a few of the issues we face and it will take creative ideas, ingenuity and a lot of action to solve them.
ABINGTON CARES FOR THE EARTH is a way to start the conversation.
We can afford to clean up our parks, playgrounds and roadsides. We can afford to recycle all we can. We can afford to think up new ways to limit our waste and use our resources more wisely. We can afford to cut down on CO2 by walking a little bit more and driving less. We can afford to protect biodiversity by growing gardens, supporting local farms and making our yards more natural. We can afford to stop using toxic chemicals and make our children, ourselves and our earth healthier.
There is only one thing we can't afford. And that is NOT to try!
Join us April 24th and 25th and get the conversation going because Abington Cares For The Earth.
